Geraldine Gardner
Associate Director, Neighborhood Planning
Geraldine Gardner joined the Office of Planning as the Associate Director for Neighborhood Planning in May 2006. She previously served as the program manager for the Neighborhood Investment Fund in the District’s Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. Previously she worked in the cities of West Hollywood, CA and New York, NY. Ms. Gardner holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelors degree in Metropolitan Studies from New York University. She was the recipient of a German Chancellor Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to study the redevelopment of Berlin, Germany as a “creative city." She is a member of the American Planning Association and the American Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. |
