Summaries of Workshops

The Office of Planning hosted 25 citywide workshops to gather information and to report back to the residents of the District on the Comp Plan revision.

Comp Plan Week #1 (January and February 2005) had an educational focus with facilitated discussions on four major topics: land use, transportation, environment, and housing/employment.

Advisory Neighborhood Commission Briefings (May to June 2005) provided ANC commissioners and the public the opportunity to give feedback on Comp Plan issues specific to each ward.

Comp Plan Week #2 (September and October 2005) provided feedback on policy options in 13 land areas including land use, transportation, and housing.

Comp Plan Week #3 (May and June 2006) provided ANC commissioners and the public an opportunity to comment on a working draft of the revised Comp Plan.

Below are links to the ANC Briefings and Comp Plan Week summaries referenced above.
