Ruth Trocolli Archaeologist  Ruth Trocolli is the archaeologist for the District of Columbia Historic Preservation Office. She  has a BA in Classical Archaeology from Douglass College, Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Florida (2006). Her duties include review of federal and local projects, maintaining the archaeological site files, and public outreach.
