Christopher K. Landis, AIA
Architect

Term: Appointed 2009, Current term ends July 21, 2011.

Mr. Landis founded Landis Group Architects in 1990. At the same time, he established the Landis Construction Corporation with his brother, Ethan Landis. His years of guiding DC area homeowners through the design process have fostered a love and appreciation of our region's architectural heritage along with a familiarity with the various local Fine Arts and Historic Review Board processes.

A registered architect in four states including the District of Columbia, Chris Landis has over 28 years of diversified design, project management and construction experience including 10 years of commercial architecture and 18 years of residential architecture including dozens of historic properties.

A graduate of Vassar College (1977), he received his MA in Architecture from Columbia University (1980). A member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Landis is past president of the Metro DC NCAR chapter.
